Iām Mona-Lisa, designer & style provider. A true creative busybody.
Raised by an interior designer and an artist, growing up I always found myself surrounded by playful and creative processes.
During high school I felt the interest to create stories. Surrealism and fiction were my favorite cup of tea. Some way or another the entertainment world seemed to be the place for me. Throughout my college years I have been searching for the right combination; storytelling and film editing at the Rits College; creative thinking and marketing communications at the Erasmus College; graphic design at Sint Lukas. This perfect mix has turned me into a creative busybody.
My fascination for graphic design specifically started during an Internship with Moodley Brand Identity in Vienna, a city full of artistic inspiration and bursts of energy. A few years later I was lucky enough to find work as a junior graphic designer with Duval Guillaume. This was a chance to gain more in-depth experience in the advertising world and expand my technical skills.
Currently I feel the urge to create and develop my own design philosophy. As well as personal development by discovering different design approaches and challenges. I enjoy playing around with traditional craft, origami-inspired design (I love complicated ideas!), illustration, print design, playful colours, packaging, magazine and book design, branding projects, jewellery design, screen printing and so on!
I have worked with:
Handicap International, Sneeuwsport Vlaanderen, Bloso, De Singel, Ideo Event design, Moodley Brand Identity, Australian Super Cotton, Rode Kruis Vlaanderen, Europese Commissie, Novy, Samsonite, ACC, Bongo, Coca-Cola, Essent, Base, Apetina, Stad Antwerpen, Effie, Ceran, KitchenAid, Belfius, and others.
